Consistency

HA. It's funny because I'm posting on a blog that had consistent content before. Well, I'm going to try to be more consistent in the new semester. (Here's hoping that it's a lighter workload.)

So, what about consistency? Well, it requires drive, drive...and well, drive. You need to be willing to be consistent; there really is no other magic formula. If I don't care about something, I won't be consistent.

A simple example: I am a video game enthusiast. I follow games constantly. But, I don't always follow the same games. I went through a COD phase two years, which transitioned to a Minecraft phase, which transitioned to a SC2 phase, which transitioned into a Skyrim phase, and is currently in the SC2 phase again. Now, what you'll find is that when you look at my podcasts I have downloaded, it follows this trend. I have a period of podcasts focusing on MW2, then a period focused on Minecraft, then a period on SC2. I really didn't search out Skyrim podcasts for some reason.

But that's a funny example of consistency. I didn't care about a game as much, and so moved on. I stopped being consistent about following the podcast.

So yeah. Consistency. Gotta work on that for the new semester.

What did I get myself into?

So, I bought SC2 this past week. Yeah...I'm imagining productivity will be at all-time lows once I get that game installed.

Right now, it's 3:46, and I've been up for...almost 20 hours? And I'll probably get around 1 hour of sleep max today. Also, I have a lovely essay that I need to work on that's due tomorrow. Ouch

But hey, nothing to worry about. Just another Science Olympiad meet day. Joyful.

I know I already posted this song, but this version of the music video is great as well. Cheers.

Happy new year

A happy new year to you all.

Sooo glad college apps are over. (of course still have scholarship stuffs to worry about.)

If there's one thing I learned (and hopefully I learned more) its that writing is NOT easy. It really hard to express yourself in an academic format. Unlike this blog, I can't just blurt out with whatever I want, which can be very limiting depending on what you're trying to say. Sometimes, I wish we could talk with judgement. If the college really wants to know you, why not have a conversation and not judge you? It just a "get to know you" with no or barely strings attached. What you say won't be used against you, it can only help you. It would be a chance for you to truly formulate thought and I think would be a great way to really understand yourself better as well. Will this happen? Probably not. But one can wish.

On a separate note, I won my fantasy league. Thanks to Victor Cruz, Aaron Hernandez, MJD, Julio Jones, and the Atl D for picking up the slack.

Hope the rest of the year is awesom!!
