Sad Day

So, I'm assuming most of you heard about what happened in Ohio today at Chardon High School, and it's honestly terrible. This should never happen ever, and yet it does. Let's never get desensitized.

Still, I think there's one more important story to talk about today.

This kid went to my school, and I never met him. I consider that a terrible loss. In fact, I find it sad that I didn't know about him until today, when he passed away. In my opinion, I missed out on a great kid. Just by reading his Facebook posts, he seems like a kid filled with optimism who just caught a tough break. I wish I knew him earlier.

I think this just shows how much we need God. Our lives can end in a split second, and without God, you won't have that security of knowing that one day you will be with Him in Heeaven. Of course, Christianity isn't just about going to Heaven; it is much more than that. But when is on the edge, wouldn't you rather be in the arms of loving Savior?

Just some thoughts.
